The day was beautiful today. We started our day with the bright sunshine. Morning was usual with routines (happy happy as usual) but then my wife said – go get ready, we should leave fast and enjoy what’s left of the day.
And me being a good husband got up and ready before 10 😀
Kidding… I got ready at 11. But we left the home by 11:05. That’s still good. Don’t judge.
Since you all know that I have failed my driving license test, therefore, I have no license, therefore I cannot drive. So we took the bus.
Here’s me and Priyanka taking pics at bus stop.

We got onto the bus at around 11:20, and arrived at Newcastle at 01:15PM. But boy-oh-boy, amazing view on the way. People live at hill station for a reason. There’s beauty all around you. The apple trees, the horses, stables, golf courses and acres and acres of farm land. The view just makes it a super fun bus ride. We enjoy all these a lot. The natural beauty around me makes me feel worth, it makes life feel meaning ful. Like there’s innate beauty in being the observer. It’s like this is what we live for.
We arrived at our destination and without wasting time started walking towards My Delhi – Indian Restaurant. In case you are wondering – No we don’t always go to Indian. Because Indian food outside India is not Indian food even if they tell you its Indian.
So, while we were on the way to My Delhi, a man came to us and started asking for food. It seemed quite odd looking at that man asking for food as he was looking well off – nice clothes, good way of talking etc. I usually get conscious because I lived in London for a few months when I came to UK so I know what could go wrong. But my sweet sweet wife got him a pork sandwich and he thanked us so much.
Yeah so we arrived at My Delhi. Got us a table. And ordered.

Their service is quite good. They bring food fast and usually are around to attend you whenever you need them. And their food is super amazing (well most of it – don’t order soya chaap :p) and Priyanka told me their chef has won many awards. I didn’t even knew and its been 2 years I have been going to that place.
Well this is what we ordered. From the left anti-clock-wise:
- Punjabi Tadka Dal
- Dum Pulao Rice
- Kozhi Chicken
- Gol Gappa (in the middle)
- Lamb Chops (very good must try)
- Salad
- Butter Naan
- Soya Chaap

Except Soya Chaap, I would recommend everything.
All and all it was an amazing experience especially when its hard to get out of the house in winters and when you do and get such amazing food – it makes your day.
Until Next Time.
